A Message From Anne...
Thank you for having allowed me to serve as your Lake County Board Representative for the last eight years. I ask for your vote so that I can continue to work on issues we care about: the environment, public health and safety, local healthcare, flood control, open space, and fiscally-responsible, accessible government.
My energy and enthusiasm for this important work has not dimmed in the last eight years; in fact, I have learned that with more experience, I’ve become more effective, working across party lines to form the coalitions necessary to advocate successfully.
As a CPA with a Masters in Taxation, I have been able to use my financial expertise to help Lake County be more transparent with its budget process and judicious with your tax dollars, retaining its AAA bond rating even during these challenging times. Building coalitions with other County Board members and community groups, I was able to bring county, state and federal funds to our district to support local efforts to reduce flooding and provide a transit-oriented public health center, award winning affordable housing projects, and environmental remediation.
Please support me with your vote. If you can volunteer for the campaign for even a small task, or host a yard sign in the fall, or make a financial contribution—your help can make a difference and will be appreciated. I am always available for any questions or concerns, and value your suggestions.
